If you wish to get from the airport to Maafushi', you have to transport by sea. The options available are local ferry Dhoani, local ferry speed boats, and private speed boats. If looking for a quick trip, it is recommended to use private or local speeds, as it only takes 40 minutes to arrive from the airport to Maafushi.

The cost of travel will depend on the mode of transport chosen for your trip. A private speed- boat is a pleasant option if you prefer a quick and comfortable trip, but it will cost around USD 380. But if you want to save on transportation, it’s better to take a speed boat ferry, as a speed boat ferry ticket costs as little as USD 25. If you’d rather take your time with a slower, more affordable travel option, you can book a Dhoani Ferry ticket for less than USD 5. It may take up to 2 hours per way.
