މިނިސްޓްރީ އޮފް އެގްރިކަލްޗަރ އެންޑް އެނިމަލް ވެލްފެއަރގެ މިނިސްޓަރ، މަރްޔަމް މާރިޔާ މިކައުންސިލް ގެ ދައުވަތަކަށް މާފުށްޓަށް ކުރެއްވި ޒިޔާރަތުގައި މިކައުންސިލް އަދި ކ. މާފުށީ ލޯކަލް އޮތޯރިޓީ ކުންފުނި ލިމިޓެޑްއާއި ބައްދަލު ކުރައްވައި މާފުށީގައި ދަނޑުވެރިކަމުގެ ދާއިރާއިން ދެފަރާތް ގުޅިގެން ކުރެވެން ހުރިކަންކަމާއި ގުޅޭގޮތުން މަޝްވަރާ ކުރައްވައި، އަދި މިހާރު ރަށުގައި އަމިއްލައަށް ދަނޑުވެރިކަން ކުރައްވާ ފަރާތްތަކުގެ ދަނޑުތައް ބައްލަވާލައްވާފައިވޭ.

The Minister of Agriculture and Animal Welfare, Maryam Maria, visited Maafushi at the invitation of the Council. And met with the council and the K. Maafushi Local Authority Company Limited to discuss opportunities for expanding agricultural activities on the island in collaboration with the Ministry. During her visit, she also toured the agricultural plots tended by individuals to gain firsthand insight into their work and challenges.
